This golf course is nestling idyllically at the foot of Konradsheim Castle, one of the oldest water castles in North Rhine Westphalia, in the level meadowland of the Zülpicher Börde. The greens are laid out in an artful, spacious manner and integrated into the undulating landscape. Idyllic streams and ponds with a surface of roughly 36,000 sq yds as well as a scattered arrangement of plants and the population of old trees provide the course with its special charm.

The course is a beautiful parkland course in a fairly quiet location. I only heard airplanes. Unfortunately, some of the fairways were bare, even though there's an irrigation system. The only solution was to improve your lie. The approaches to the greens were correspondingly poor. The greens themselves were quite slow. I also didn't understand why almost all the pins on the front nine were placed far right. Some tee boxes were extremely damaged. Overall, I wasn't impressed with the course's condition. The players taking shortcuts on the back nine were extremely annoying, as they dropped their balls haphazardly into the round and caused considerable delays.
