Having moved to the area from Dubai I was looking for a home course. I couldn’t been happier here. It’s not the manicure of Dubai of course but this is an excellent test of your golf. Great greens. Fairways really make you think and play your way around the course. And it’s not just about hitting the ball as far as you can, and then doing it again. This is real golf. The most beautiful scenery on the course plus views of the lakes that make a poor round of golf worthwhile. Great helpful staff just a proper golf club.

I have played here many times and have enjoyed it every time. The course is hilly up and down through gorgeous birch trees. It's all pretty narrow and not necessarily in perfect condition but the last time I was there both fairways and greens were great. The are long walks between some greens and tees but particularily between the 9 th and 10th. Th club provides a shuttle to take you there and back. Nevertheless this is a course where a buggy is a good idea (for those of us over 60).
There are stunning views as far as Milan from the higher holes.
The clubhouse is straightforward and welcoming. Good food and wine. Do not miss out on eating here.

The first 9 holes are nicer than the second nine. The course is in very good condition, although it has rained heavily in the past few days. Toilet on site: none. Drink dispensers are also missing. Some very long ways to the tees. Cart is recommended here.
The clubhouse is, well. Restaurant is mediocre. We didn't get anything to eat at 3:30 p.m. except a toast.
Overall a nice place with a beautiful view. Should you have played, but once is enough 😏

I played the course twice in July 2022. He deserves to play a second time.
Brief conclusion in advance: you certainly don't play the course because of the first-class maintenance condition, but more because of the experience up in the forest, the view and the entertaining tracks. Not an everyday place for me, you are too dependent on a cart for that, but a nice holiday spectacle. I liked the second 9 better, hole 12 was my highlight. Hole 11 spectacular but actually too dangerous in full operation of a place.

Great view of some holes on the Lago. In contrast to many alpine courses, you play here on the crest, not in the valley.
Nevertheless, many beautiful forest passages, you really feel in nature here.
Greens in good shape and the fairways were fine, despite the drought in northern Italy.
Estimate the space much better on the second play. A few balls were gone the first time because you sometimes don't know where the ball went with all the blind shots. The second time I almost took my ball home with me (unfortunately I lost it out of bounds when playing the 18th green).
The place is also made for friends of the driver, some passages are more for precise irons.
There are some spectacular Raufhammer tees, most notably hole 11 (carry about 150m into the valley) and 12 (carry about 200m downhill across water with a 90 degree dogleg if you dare.).
Friendly reception, clubhouse ok, didn't eat anything but others did.

Away from the fairway, the ball is always gone because it is in the woods or bush.
Place has some blind spots. Luckily I had missed the tee shot on hole 5, because suddenly two cars appeared completely unexpectedly from behind a crest. There are no bells or anything similar to clear the runway.
Hole 11 is cool, but far too dangerous. From yellow you hammer what feels like 50 meters down over a ridge. The hole then curves to the left. Ultimately, you can hit everything that's running around right up to the green, but you don't necessarily see whether anyone else is on the lane or, for example, is on the left side of the lane. In my opinion far too dangerous, here the operator has to make sure somehow that the person teeing off knows whether the lane is free and the people who are on the lane feel safe that someone is not already starting up, because if a 240 meter + 50 meters high a grenade hits, it's definitely pitch black afterwards. To be on the safe side, I parked my cart in the middle of the fairway to be visible. We played here in September in lovely golf weather. We come from the Bergisches Land and are in good physical condition, but we took a kart on the second lap, which is helpful. Daily green fee 55 EUR with Italia Golf and more is absolutely fine. Even if the maintenance condition is rather mediocre, you will always be rewarded with beautiful views along the way.
