Situated in the heart of the Ariège Pyrénées in a setting of exceptional beauty, the Ariège Golf Club designed by Michel Gayon offers an eighteen hole golf course of an astonishing variety that combines both agreable playing conditions and which is also technically demanding.
There is also a 9 hole short course that serves as a pitch and putt. A practice area is available with 26 mats of which 6 are weather protected. An approach green can be found in the practice area and a putting green is next to the clubhouse.

Golf tuition

Natural beauty

The DR features metal animal targets, which we, HCPI 11 and 9, have never seen before. The lanes lead very naturally through the terrain with bunkers, but without water hazards. It is a lot of fun to play here because the greens are great. Despite the differences in height, the course can be completed with a hand trolley. Very nice, perfectly inserted into the countryside golf course. Challenging fairways with gradients and doglegs, but require some condition. If from time to bounce a ball off of a cliff and disappears in the undergrowth more than compensates for the wonderful views of the Pyrenees the small loss.
Even though the fairways may not always have the highest maintenance state, yet the greens are absolutely fine. Do not be alarmed if a times encountered a deer or a pheasant from the rough blows up you are just in the middle of nature.
All in all very varied and interesting golf course, it is always worth to be played.
The clubhouse makes a good impression and the food should also be ok. Similarly, the driving range with practice bunkers, chipping and putting greens and the 9-hole Pitchingplatz.
