A beautiful parkland course that is worth traveling a long way for. The course is now a par 74 course and therefore not so long. However, the holes are extremely varied and memorable. The condition of the course was good, only the greens are quite slow. The extremely annoying things have been fixed (service charge as a green fee surcharge). There are also towels in the shower and the catering is highly recommended (large selection).

Nice course, good condition

The course is nicely laid out, not too difficult but nice to play. Condition of the place was very good. We only use the washrooms on site and if you know in advance that you have to organize the towel at the reception (thanks to the previous poster) there is no problem there either. The green fee is more than reasonable in terms of price. Was a nice day.

Average well maintained parkland

Played early June 2023, HCP 14

In short - a longer, average, quiet and unspectacular parkland course with lots of forest on the edge.

Some trees have also "strayed" onto the fairways and are definitely "in the game". The length is also challenging (more than 6,000m from the regular YELLOW tees at par 72) - not easy due to the tree line on the right and left of the fairways. A few "blind" shots make the whole thing even more difficult, but the course of the course is always fair after the respective hills (no "hidden obstacles").
In general, there are only a few (three) water hazards - all on the side, none of them have to be crossed head-on. Bunkers are more common, some of them are large, but they are playable. A few doglegs complicate the game. You won't find any significant rough - it's very pleasant and also increases the game speed. The forest at the edge of the tracks is "menace" enough to just stay yes!
The greens are interesting, slightly undulating.

Due to the length and some hills, the use of a cart is recommended for those who don't like it particularly "sporty".

The condition is consistently good (tees, fairways, bunkers, greens), there is nothing to complain about.

Unfortunately, there are some shortcomings in the "trappings":
The fact that towels for the showers can only be picked up there during the opening hours of the secretariat is unfortunately only found out by the inclined guest AFTER the secretariat has closed, when he takes the corresponding information from a sign on the door of the shower after the round - too late. The notice would be much better off in the secretariat, where you would see it when you checked in.
The gastronomy is also a bit disappointing. Certain expectations are aroused on the Internet with the "international cuisine" - on site you can then discover different menus (at the secretariat, in the gastronomy), which, however, equally reveal that essentially only a few snacks are offered. A pity.
Finally, the large number of range balls on hole 18 gives cause for concern - obviously staying on this hole is not entirely safe...

Conclusion: You don't have to get angry if you play this course - but you don't have to go there specially to get to know it. Take it with you if you're in the area anyway. Almost 3 stars. (In the "Golf Bear Ranking": 5 out of 10 points.)
