For players of all HCP's, but overly loyal
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed September 9, 2023
The place is about 3 km from Buchholz and is reached via small paths. The tracks often run through the forest. If there is no forest accompanying the track, water regularly comes into play. The green fee is significantly overpriced at €95, and you obviously want to keep to yourself. alternatives e.g. B. the two places in Hittfeld are not only cheaper, but are also in 2 for 1 cooperation. The course was averagely well maintained, the greens were great. A special highlight is the tree in front of the green on the 18th. The speed of play was noticeably slow. We can recommend the restaurant.

Beautiful park in top condition
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed July 25, 2023
Played early June 2023, HCP 14
A wonderful parkland course - still provided with plenty of forest on the front nine, a little more open at the back. At the beginning of June it was blooming and greening, especially on the back nine!
You can also let yourself be distracted a little from golfing, because the course offers very few particularly tricky challenges. The fairways are mostly level, large differences in altitude cannot be mastered, slopes are practically non-existent. You can easily master the place on foot, there are only a few longer distances to be mastered between the tracks. Anyone who still takes a cart will be pleasantly surprised - very good condition, including a perfectly working GPS that doesn't have any annoying advertisements.
There are some doglegs of up to 90° and from time to time water comes into play - at the end of the semi-rounds there is a frontal (at least at this time of year) visually beautiful lake and rose pond in front of the green. Otherwise, the fairways are short and wide enough (somewhat narrower on the first nine), fairway bunkers can be easily removed from the game, only the green bunkers guard the putt areas quite well in some cases.
The greens are moderately fast, only slightly undulating and, like the entire course, in top condition! It is very rare to find places that are in such excellent condition, from the tees to the fairways, the semi-rough, the bunkers, to the greens. In particular, the fine bunker sand with the same quality of all played sand obstacles was a lot of fun! BIG PRAISE TO THE GREEN-KEEPERS!!!
This great maintenance condition then also justifies the quite lavish green fee (80, - on Monday), especially since the other service is "right". Because of a 9-hole tournament with a cannon start, holes 10-18 were closed in the afternoon - we were therefore allowed to play these 9 holes first and then complete the 18 holes from hole 1. Since the pro shop was closed on Mondays, the desired logo balls were available directly from the club office - and as a guest gift! It goes without saying that there are enough towels for the guests in the changing rooms - in many other clubs you already save (in my opinion at the wrong end).
Conclusion: Although the course does not come up with the very big technical challenges or offers sensational views of the landscape, there are almost 4 stars because of the nice service, the heavenly peace and above all the excellent maintenance condition. We'd love to come back! (In the "Golf Bear Ranking": 7 out of 10 points.)

A beautiful day of golf
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed August 10, 2022
All in all, a really nice and well-maintained complex. Green's ***+
The first 9 (with beautiful trees) definitely deserve 4 + stars.
The second 9 (rather openly designed) have 3 stars.
Gastro friendly & fair.
Pleasant green fee options... Early Bird & Sundowner
