Characteristics
The golf course in Brigels is on the scenic "Tschuppina" plateau. It has been designed by architect Mario Verdieri using the natural contours of the area. The view is spectacular and we benefit from a great deal of sunshine which allows us to remain open between April and November.

Our friend said the place was expanded. He isn't. Parking lot and clubhouse are temporary or containers. Ugly. We're based in Sussex and our place is top 20 in the UK but this one in Brigels? Everything is not finished and set up as a hobby. Campers in the parking lot and hikers on the golf course. They are also traveling with equipment that we threw away 20 years ago. This is also the case on the pitch. Bunker, catastrophe, green catastrophe, fairway double catastrophe, skill level triple catastrophe. We were surprised by some of the very negative reviews, as we have played Brigels a few times in the past. Now we wanted to see for ourselves. The criticism is certainly justified. The course is in a poor and ill-maintained condition. The green fee is horrendously expensive for its condition. The fact that the course is never level and constantly goes up and down is typical in these locations, but Arosa, Sedrun, Rhone and Andermatt are worlds better even at this altitude. The course maintenance is unprofessional and the appearance is inadequate. The driving range is not worthy of a golf course, as it is within striking distance of a children's area and is located right next to the slaughterhouse. Rather gruesome and unpleasant. We also wanted to rent a cart, which is more than appropriate on such an unpleasantly steep course, but it didn't work - you can't drive. Reason? That's just what the head greenkeeper said. Aha.
