Characteristics
The very demanding 18-hole course is the first golf course by Graham Marsh in Europe. The course has a very attractive design with softly modelled fairways, greens, well but fairly guarded by bunkers and pools, and a general concept that rewards skilful strokes but also allows a less risky alternative. The dream-like Jurrasic landscape adds to the charm of the course. There are 24 modern electro carts, but the course is also manageable on foot.

A perfect golf day

We played the course on September 26th, 2023. We were greeted very friendly in the secretariat. Even though the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays, the lady made us coffee. Big compliment for the great hospitality.
The course is very nice, partly hilly with lots of bunkers. Some courses are challenging, but always fair. Even players with higher HCPs should feel comfortable here.
What should be noted is the extremely good and well-maintained condition, not only of the fairways and greens, but of the entire facility, including the clubhouse.
We really enjoyed playing here and will definitely come back.

We can only recommend playing the Habsberg. Very well maintained course, slightly hilly, but with wide fairways. The bunkers at many drive landing zones are certainly a challenge. Not to mention the many green bunkers. Exact play is required here. Many tees go up or down, with many beautiful views of the Jura landscape. The lady in the secretariat was very friendly and helpful. Even the greenkeeper was very friendly. All in all a big recommendation for this place.

The course is beautifully embedded in an undulating / hilly landscape - a delight for the eyes. top condition - pure nature. exciting paths from A to Z; fairways: very good; greens: strongly undulating, tricky to play; all around the best infrastructure. simply a very happy experience for the golf enthusiast.
the place is peppered! with sand bunkers. Excellent! have rarely seen anything like this on this scale. all deeply excavated, perfectly (common) placed and well cared for. there will hardly be a round of golf without a visit to the sand bunker. and here comes the drop of woe. 2-3 cm sand depth and below that rock-hard underground. if there are sand bunkers of this size, then please those that can be used in all locations. but that's a rather frustrating affair.
if the place weren't so perfect, it would have cost the 5 * star.
the 19th hole has a very good restaurant. we washed our sand frustration down...
... and then booked the next tee time straight away.
