Characteristics
The very demanding 18-hole course is the first golf course by Graham Marsh in Europe. The course has a very attractive design with softly modelled fairways, greens, well but fairly guarded by bunkers and pools, and a general concept that rewards skilful strokes but also allows a less risky alternative. The dream-like Jurrasic landscape adds to the charm of the course. There are 24 modern electro carts, but the course is also manageable on foot.

Sensationally great layout and landscape

The beautiful autumn landscape in September 2025 enchanted us. But even without that, we found the layout sensational, a truly successful design. It rarely happens to me (handicap 15, but I've been under 10) that I get into personal "tournament mode" and play 18 holes almost hypnotized by strategy and tactics: this was the case with this course. The course is always fair; there are certainly refinements for higher handicappers. For lower handicappers, it's always wide enough. The planting and placement are well chosen. Everything is really well done. It was really fun. Yes, definitely a leading course.
The staff is super friendly; parking and overnight stays were completely stress-free and relaxed for us RVers. The drive there was a bit tricky (plus a closed village), but okay. Afterward, we were able to enjoy Asian-Bavarian cuisine on the sun terrace with a view of the arriving players of the 18th round; super friendly service. Everything was perfect. We can't think of anything we'd like to improve. We'd love to come back soon.
