Founded in 1890 and designed by Willie Park, Glencorse Golf Club is a recognised „hidden gem“ located south of Edinburgh near Penicuik. This picturesque inland parkland course offers stunning views of the Pentland Hills. Although relatively short at 5,217 yards, it presents a formidable challenge with the Glencorse Burn winding through ten holes. Uniquely, the layout features eight par-3s, with only one measuring under 200 yards. A warm clubhouse with a restaurant awaits golfers after testing their precision.

Glencorse is a very good golf course. An excellent layout and use of very limited land. To get such a challenging golf course in a relatively small area is a great achievement. Well worth playing!!
