Great parkland course near Stirling

In the shadow of the great Scottish links courses, parkland courses inland have a tough time. We had the pleasure of playing 18 holes in Glenbervie and were thrilled.

The first 9 holes are varied and offer very scenic courses. The second 9 are a little steep but have everything a great parkland course needs.

The pro shop is nicely decorated and the pro (who also manages the tee times) is very friendly. The driving range is right next to the first tee, but is a bit difficult to get to and only has 4-5 tees.

The wardrobe looks antique and fits well with the overall Scottish look.

In any case, we were pleased with the course and would play there again at any time.
