Yes, the club has a tradition and yes, the tour played here in the 1980s. But the £125 green fee on weekdays (!) creates expectations that the course cannot fulfill. The layout is too simple and the motorway is too close! And the tree to the left of hole 17, which Bernhard Langer climbed in 1981, doesn't save it either.
The information about the “daily green fee” on the Golf Albrecht website also seems to come from the 80s…
