Established in 1985, Golfklúbburinn Flúðir is located in the scenic southern countryside of Iceland near the village of Flúðir. Its course, Selsvöllur, stands out as one of the few true forest courses in the country. Situated on the Efra-Sel farm estate, this 18-hole Par 70 layout relies on precision rather than power, winding through mature trees and along the banks of the Litla-Laxá river. The club has evolved from a humble 6-hole beginning to a full championship layout. Facilities include a driving range, short game area, and the welcoming Kaffi-Sel restaurant, offering a relaxing spot after the round.
