We played both courses; they're very similar, so I can't say which I prefer. Everything is very well maintained, and the clubhouse is great. The course maintenance isn't quite typical of the Left; the courses could easily be on the US East Coast. St. Andrews comes into view on the horizon every now and then, and its short distance means the prices are a bit more reasonable than downtown. Worth a visit!

We played the course in early September 2024 in pleasant temperatures.
Mulligan described the course well. You should think carefully beforehand about which tees you will play from. The rough is tough. It is hard to find balls there. The condition is top notch. The greens are fast and in places quite undulating. The clubhouse is outstanding with a wonderful panoramic view.
Overall, recommendable, although we missed the charm of the "historic" links courses.
