Nice Winter Golf
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed December 26, 2019
We played before christmas day, quite empty, nice welcoming at the parking place. Balls were ready at the Range to hit. GF with manual Trolley 82 Euros. Course in good condition, some greens with different grass types or patches. Sand in Bunkers more like fine dirt.
Overall experience is ok. Meals were expensive but good quality. Nice club house.

excellent golf course, fast greens and good service

Service 5 star, Course 3 Star

Beautifully built and maintained facility. Very good service, friendly and helpful. Golf course well presented but fairly uninspiring. With such a huge investment of money one would expect a better golf course design. Highlight was par 3 17th. Lowlight was a hugely unimpressive finishing hole. AC PGA Pro

Quite Ok
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed January 21, 2025
Course played on January 19th, 2025. Course condition very good, beautiful fairways, true greens!
The first holes are quite wide open; very good for warming up.
Towards the end the trees move a little closer together, which requires straight play to achieve a good score.
Bunkers are very easy and consistent to play.
What was very negative: Very expensive restaurant! What a pity!

Best Place in Marrakech
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed December 16, 2024
Very well-kept ambience. Tee boxes, fairways and greens are all very good. The layout is varied. The caddies are professional and very helpful when reading the greens. The range is also very good - range balls included in the GF. The club restaurant is well stocked with snacks, but hot meals are only served until 5 p.m.
The only downside was that several flights of Japanese players with very different levels of ability started one after the other and played extremely slowly - the marshals and caddies were helpless.
Otherwise, from our point of view, the place is highly recommended!

Necessarily play
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed March 4, 2024
The obligatory caddy leads you over very well-maintained, relatively dense fairways. Very interesting layout, only the 17th green, a par 3 slopes down a bit. (Although interesting with side water but you have to walk back and the following flight has to wait) Relatively flat like all places in Marrakech. Easy to play bunkers, normally fast greens.
Played on 2/25/24.

Beautiful golf course
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed January 1, 2024
Very beautifully landscaped golf course with wide fairways. Best condition of the courses played so far this week. Very nice bunkers from hard sand to very soft.
We recommend!
The only drawback was the poor service in the clubhouse. Orders for drinks were not fulfilled despite repeated requests.

Great layout
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed February 16, 2023
Beautiful golf course with interesting fairways. Relatively wide fairways, very nice bunkers with almost too much sand (you sink almost up to your ankle), good greens - except for green 3 - but they weren't too fast.
I found the bird and duck droppings on some fairways and greens very disturbing.
Otherwise there is really nothing to criticize!
Gladly again Royal Palm!

Good condition
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed January 31, 2023
I played the aplatz on 1/30/23 and it was in very good condition.
Tracks varied as already described.
Bunker also good to play.
The only drawback was the partially stained and repaired greens at that time.

Top quality
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed January 5, 2023
We Hcp 11 and 9 played the course twice within a few days on January 1st, 2023. The balls on the DR are free, there are grass tees. The place offers great variety and was well prepared. The very wide fairways are very forgiving. Unfortunately there was noise on one side of the square due to the construction of new villas. We played with hand trolleys.

The field is not discussed

We played, November 2021, in 4 with these Hcp 9 Hcp 10 Hcp 8 and Hcp 11 the course nothing to say maybe a few more signs where describing the holes in succession would be better. ASSOUFID ANOTHER THING, MUCH BETTER FROM ALL POINTS OF VIEW!!!
The thing that struck us most was the ARROGANCE AND SUPPONENCE OF THE DIRECTOR, never seen such a disagreeable person!!! As a journalist, I advised him to change jobs and I think about forwarding this request to the company that owns the golf - I guided 3 Swiss golfers who were stunned by so much hubris. I HAVE BEEN RESIDENT IN MOROCCO FOR 13 YEARS and therefore I know my chickens well

Top Rank

Condition sensational at the end of January 2020, fluffy fairways, all green. Assoufid doesn't quite get there. We (HCP 12,15,18) liked this place the best. What is botanical here is second to none.
Varied layout, not particularly difficult, I think four of us lost 3 balls, like all the other courses here very wide. The clubhouse is very new and modern, food was great. Service was a little sluggish, but it was bearable. A must-play in Marrakech!

Great place in a great hotel area
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed January 27, 2020
There is practically nothing to complain about. Fairways and greens were in good condition throughout. The place is beautiful and interesting. The employees at the reception on the driving range and in the clubhouse are sensationally friendly and the food in the restaurant is very good. The attached hotel is definitely one of the "leading hotels of the world". Perhaps the only small point of criticism is that you can hardly see any of the original landscape and that's why we liked the Assoufid a little bit better

Interesting place
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed October 24, 2019
We played the course in mid-October 2019 and loved the grounds. It is beautifully landscaped and captivates through the lush greenery, which presents itself in the desert landscape as a large oasis. The holes are interesting and varied - holes 6 and 7 as well as holes 11,15 and 17 we found particularly beautiful. A tip for the ladies: definitely play from the blue tee, because the place from the red tee is very short.

Would be Superplatz, if...
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed March 22, 2019
... the very bad greens on hole 3 and 4 would not have been. The greens have some other speeds, so only 4 stars.
Place created fantastically, the first 9 are rather wide, the back nine are narrow and a little tricky.
Reductions, fairways very beautiful, bunkers impeccable, soft and with a lot of sand.
Layout varied, an interesting place.
For me the most beautiful holes was the fairway 3 (to the greens), a par 4, as well as the 17, a par 3.

Top Golf Course
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed March 18, 2019
For me better than the supposedly best place in Marrakech, Assoufid. More difficult, more interesting layout and also visually more beautiful. Very well maintained, greens very fast. Started on tea 1 at 8 o'clock. On the 10 was probably started until 9.30, and suddenly was a flight on tea 13? But I have heard in Morocco many times already. Otherwise really great. Would say place No. 1 in Marrakech.

Good place with great driving range. Clubhouse and staff are great, the associated hotel also. The only drawback are the bunkers, which contain very little sand.

A must play
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed February 9, 2015
You have to play in this place had the pleasure in as early as January 2014, however, play here the place was still quite virgin so I did not vote.
This year I lived in the Hotel Domaine Royal Palm, so I could play almost every day of the golf course. Reception very friendly, grass tees on the Range, Super tee boxes, fairways rather hard and getting used to for some, as Green's, loyal and fair. The layout and design of the best here in Marrakech.
Meanwhile, various flowering shrubs, the fixations of the palm trees were removed, and the place has grown together quite beautiful.
Surely this place needs a few more years but I'll play this over and over again here in Marrakech.
Hope the next year, then the club house is finished, currently this is not solved yet perfect for green fee players.
For hotel guests, the service is very good not perfect but it tries very hard.

Not all gold shines what
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed January 1, 2015
The start is very bumpy, as the Clubhouse is still not finished and leave to be desired by access, parking, locker, gastronomy and match preparation. Service and friendliness are appropriate. Course layout and fantastic panorama. Unfortunately fairways top in poor condition, haircuts, bunkers and greens. Nevertheless, a very enjoyable round with very exciting courses. Just a pity that there is no information boards at the tee. I would play again immediately.

Best investment in Marrakech
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed April 21, 2014
Although the course can be played only since the beginning of 2014, he is in top condition with perfect fast greens. The facility is maintained to the smallest detail, but they will be entertained by over 100 court workers. The place is "alive" by a variety of oversized bunkers and play is relatively simple yellow. The challenge begins with the white and especially the black tees. The practice facilities are generously designed and extremely well maintained. The staff are very friendly, competent and trained perfectly! It is a pleasure to play here, because it is currently the best facility in Marrakech!
The perfection is completed by the associated Royal Palm hotel, which serves as a "substitute" for the under construction located clubhouse.

But it was nice but
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed March 3, 2014
Played on 3 Of March 2014. The golf course has been open for about 2 months.
On the rest of the system is still working.
The reception and the whole team is very nice and helpful.
Facts: 18 holes cost 720 - 50 Trolley - (or caddy that price I do not know), while the Green Fairy 25 balls for the DR are includiert; additional 25 balls cost 40, -.
The plant is relatively easy to play. the fairways are well maintained and quite wide to play the greens like a carpet and pretty fast, the bunkers not too deep and beautiful.
The restaurant is very well maintained and expensive. a Diet Coke costs 60, -.
Conclusion: Best-kept area with a shot Luxury...
