Located within a nature reserve and just ten minutes from Lagos, Espiche Golf is an eco-resort which has been perfectly integrated into the surrounding natural environment and offers a unique and authentic experience in the western Algarve.
Preservation, conservation and innovation of resource management are at the heart of Espiche Golf. The 18 hole, par 72 golf course was designed to integrate effortlessly into the surrounding Algarve countryside and the indigenous flora and fauna of the area have been preserved, in keeping with the company ethos of nature preservation and conservation. This commitment to maintaining natural resources is one that we believe will allow Espiche Golf to continuously contribute to a sustainable future.
The Espiche Golf Clubhouse, which is also home to the Gecko restaurant, has been awarded internationally for its architecture, design and environmental efficiency, in reference to both the choice of materials used for the building and in its resource management. The exceptional location of the Clubhouse, situated on top of a hill overlooking the resort, offers breathtaking views across the golf course and the nature reserve. Great Course in Fantastic Condition

Roy, Kenny and young Cameron had a great time at Espiche in July playing more than a few games. Fantastic service all round from booking times, arrival, meals and let me say the Golf Course is one of the best I've played. Respect was given to a few holes and we were rewarded with a par or one over. That's fine as we are not scratch players-13,16 and 20. So enjoy, you will not be disappointed and many thanks to all staff at Espiche. See you all next year. Roy

Played the course for first time today. It is in fantastic condition. very tight so leave the driver alone. Staff very friendly and new clubhouse is excellent with beautiful views over the course from the balcony. The best course I have played in the Algarve during a 2week stay. I will definitely return. Not really a course for high handicappers but if you feel like a challenge take plenty of balls.

Captivated by this wonderful location in the middle of the maquis.
Torn because man can't get the place under control.
Example: Hole 1. I ask the marshal how far it is to the wall. 260 m.
OK, driver... better not. The 5 iron ran 20 m up to the wall, the ground is so hard. Then the wind came at around 40 km/h. Since everything is uneven, a completely straight ball ran off to the side at 60 degrees. And the roll can go a long way depending on the position... Only played with irons and still managed a par 5 in 2 shots on the front green with a tailwind. Played without a driver, no problem in terms of length. Even the rescue chip from the macchia ran 100 m.
The hard fairway is as short as the green on some other courses. The green is as fast as concrete... sometimes. The greens are often raised and slope down to the side. If you land 1 m off it, adios ball. The path to the course is well signposted, easy and full of building pits. Houses are being built there now, but not into the course. The clubhouse/restaurant is modern and pleasant. Great clams for €15. Course 85/p. No discount.
Walked with a carry bag to enjoy the scenery.
4 hours for four with a little queuing.
