Epsom Golf Club

Established in 1889 on the rolling Epsom Downs, this traditional club offers a unique golfing experience steeped in history. Famous for being one of Surrey's driest courses due to its chalk subsoil, it ensures excellent playability year-round, even when neighboring courses are wet. While the 18-hole layout is not long by modern standards, the undulating terrain and tight, fast greens demand precision and strategy over brute force. A highlight of the round is the spectacular panoramic view stretching across the London skyline, visible on clear days. The experience is completed by the historic clubhouse—the first purpose-built in the county—which houses a Victorian-era snooker room, preserving the atmosphere of a bygone era.
