Established in 1966, Ebeltoft Golf Club is one of Denmark's oldest and most scenic golfing destinations. Located within the rolling hills of Mols Bjerge National Park, the course offers breathtaking panoramic views over Ebeltoft Vig and the Kattegat. Designed by Frederik Dreyer, the 18-hole layout features undulating fairways and small, tricky greens that require strategic precision rather than sheer power. The sandy soil gives the course a distinct character reminiscent of links golf. As a pesticide-free facility, it offers a pure nature experience where wild deer are often spotted, complemented by a charming clubhouse terrace.

We played Ebeltoft today and were very impressed with the design.
Beautifully situated in Mols Bjerge National Park with stunning views. Although on the outskirts of town, it's absolutely peaceful. Not an elitist country club, but rather a relaxed and comfortable course for everyone. A constant up and down, dogleg right, dogleg left, blind tee shots, and fantastic greens. Rock-hard and always sloping fairways, numerous par 3s uphill or downhill. Never boring, fair, and yet always surprising.
For 2 people, €114 including card (which we would recommend) is also not too expensive.
It's worth a visit. We didn't try Hole 19, so we can't comment on it. There's no halfway house.
