The course famously incorporates the 'MacKenzie Scheme' of 1920, outlined by the legendary architect Dr. Alister MacKenzie. Today, the Par 72 layout spans over 6,400 yards, featuring undulating fairways and strategic water hazards that test golfers of all abilities. Highlights include the 7th, a signature par 3 played over a valley, and the 12th, often cited as one of the toughest par 4s in the North. Recent renovations have enhanced the facilities, including a clubhouse that offers panoramic views of the Cleveland Hills and a modern driving range.
