Top course

Have played this course numerous times over the years. Most recenty in April 2024.
It is a great challange of golf with a good variety of holes requiring thought but with reward.
Quite a long course so a buggy is a good idea if like me you are no longer as fit as you once were!
The 4th hole is a gem. A good drive is vital but the second shot needs to be careful thought out as a rock face runs along the righthand side. The 18th par 3 is a wonderful way to finish your round.
Amazing views of the Devon countryside, good greens. All in all, a great golf course.
You can stay there in the hotel or lodges. The historic Naval town of Dartmouth is worth a visit.

Top investment on favorable terms

We played the course in July 2011 several times on vacation and loved it. The site offers plenty of golfing challenges, but remains fairly. The condition of the whole place and especially the greens was perfect. We also noticed very pleasant, despite that the place was crowded summer holidays in the UK in any way. Although actually had to reserve tee-times, you could just go to the club house, pay the fee and refuse.
One tip though still: In the round have to be overcome to a considerable extent in altitude, the rental of buggies is so well worth considering.
Conclusion: A clear recommendation of the club. We will come back!
