Excellent maintained course

Have been playing End of April 2015. Interesting course with lot of water hazards, flat but with good protection of the greens nearly always between bunkers and water. If you have a water phobia thats the place to go.
Trainings facilities are complete, staff is competent and friendly, bathrooms and showers are clean and modern. Golf shop has got what it needs, and also trendy golf fashion.
Restaurant quality is more at the lower end, better have a drink and eat somewhere else

The course is in excellent conditions, but the price also is supreme with 80 € incl. buggy, especially in comparison to other golf courses at the coast which are on average around 50 €, but also to be admitted not in this good shape.
The course is challenging enough for a lower handicap and playable with fun for a higher handicap

Beautiful Place

How have played the course yesterday. Top maintained and the greens fast. Lots of water but not overly difficult. But the greefee is already high. But gladly again.

No links course, disappointing

This course is in the middle of a large leisure facility, beautifully angled but overall undemanding. Hole in the hole same scenarios, nothing special, no adrenaline.
What would also do the place good would be a handicap lower limit, so this place is just not fun. I advise against

No links course

The home page promises a links course...

Seve Ballesteros has built a genuine parkland course with plenty of water, which is occasionally involved - in short, a really good resort course. The completely flat course - located close to the beach - is not too difficult to play, even easy, provided the wind is not too strong in the game. It is a course that allows you to go full throttle with the driver.

When Ballesteros builds there is always variety in the game, because he knows how to bring water into play and the fairway bunkers are usually perfectly placed - fortunately there are not as many here as on other courses.

The facility is well maintained, but not in such a way that it can be counted among the top courses, here too they struggle with the drought.

We really liked the greens, hard, fast and on track.

We feel on a number of Hoyos in the States - Florida - many small ponds and lakes, also in the middle of the fairway

Still in the top 100 Spain, it has lost a lot of ground in recent years - a solid four stars.

We all enjoyed it very much, got solid scores in the clubhouse.

We use the hotel complex for the second time after 2007, it is a pleasure.

Nice flat place with good layout

The course is easy to play, the condition is good and the layout clearly bears the signature of Seve Ballesteros, the first 7 holes are rather short and compact, from the 5 onwards the golf accumulates in front of a frontal water hazard and the 6 par 3 170m over frontal water overwhelms most golfers!
From hole 8, the course continues on the other side of the road, opening up and beautiful holes along the palm trees require precise drives and good second shots into the green, which are often on the water and well bunkered. It's especially difficult to play with the wind.
In the high season is the Pmatz
Fully occupied and the target playing time of 4.20 hours is hardly observed. A marshal would be desirable

Golf Resort

Of course, as a guest of the Oliva Nova Golfhotel a must. 18 holes are absolutely flat and therefore no buggy is necessary. Beautifully laid out, with a lot of water on the track. The holes 10-18 are even better from the layout. Even without Platzkentnis a good score is very possible. Unfortunately, three greens were closed due to damage in the first 9 holes. However, there would be a Greenfeeermäßigung without asking. This is what professional service looks like. Many other golf clubs can take this as an example. So play when you're around.

A very nice place, always happy :)

We play the space "Oliva Nova" every year. The golf course is in winter and in summer beautiful and the place in excellent condition. Despite a misunderstanding concerning green fee voucher, we felt very comfortable because of this "problem" was solved quickly. When a cart green fees, balls and 2x 2x 2x birdiebook and beverage voucher for the restaurant was there. The restaurant staff was very courteous and friendly.

We look forward to the next round at the Golf Club Olive Nova :)

Round, but a little too expensive package

We played the course on Easter Sunday 2014. Driving range was equipped with the standard, hard-edge carpets - green tee off were not available for us green fee players. Pitching and chipping green, I have not seen, but putting green was great and reflected the quality of the course greens well again.
Overall, the plant went very well maintained represents only some places broke a little dry steppe through, but that could be neglected. The fairways were tight and the number of visible divots was limited. The greens were very well maintained and too long to reach only a hint to the maximum speed.
The design is well thought out. The greens are well defended and the approach requires space knowledge and precise game. Many greens are nice but ondulliert never unfair. Overall, a successful course architecture with a variety of different obstacles and challenges. The fairways are good together - a longer walk is necessary only at the beginning and in the second third of the first nine.
The beautiful clubhouse with its buffet had something Speisesaalathmosphäre with chairs and the patio was only sparingly and highly reserved. Nevertheless, we got a place for a cold beer.
The staff was very friendly and showed strongly to green fee players interested. Unfortunately, the price with over 80 € incl car was (the one does not necessarily need) a little at the top for my taste. That will be determined to have cheaper out of season. It discount packages were offered on 10 tee times. Birdie-Books can be purchased for an additional charge.
Overall, we were very pleased and would return.

Good maintenance and good greens

Rating varies between between 3-4 stars. Tendency to 4
Care status and greens top. Some Cartwege and wooden bridges could use a makeover. Green Free Club Hotel on right.
But € 36 for a buggy is already rip off.
Thus in the end only 3 stars.

Good mediocrity

Landscaped flat course with wide fairways. For players with a higher handicap. suitable. One should einrechnen at least 5 hours, since most often associated with longer waiting times. I prefer something more spectacular courses.
Well-equipped pro shop and nice restaurant with a large selection.

Means Maas

Played on 24 March 2013

Well kept place. Wide fairways.

The only really significant negative point was the staff in the club house. Almost no knowledge of English available. Often brought the wrong food or even nothing. Overwhelmed. But just because it is indeed the golf there.

The Green Fairy buggy and driving range token was there.

Quite OK

Played in March 2013. Visually attractive landscaped facility, nursing Good condition of the fairways and discounts, rather bumpy, slow greens, which one observes that this is a VERY much of recorded hotel room. But quite OK. My 7 players agreed on 3-4 stars tendency to 3 So be it.

Average

Golf Course:
The place is through generous - in Fairways - sometimes slightly wavy. It is designed flat and it always comes back water into play.

State:
For the season well played.

Start time of booking:
On the booking request via the website of the place I have waited in vain for an answer. After a phone call, however, it was no problem to get a start time to the requested date.
On a Thursday morning, therefore, very little was going round a fast and feasible.

Club Restaurant:
Good food and drinks that you can take on a nice terrace overlooking the golf course.

Conclusion:
An average, rather nicely landscaped and easy to play golf. The picture is, however, somewhat marred by the Einsäumung in the hotel grounds or the surrounding tracks all outside houses.

Ok!

I once played this course with a handicap of 36.0! Pretty long fairways-perfect for when you're playing with and Driver Woods Irons player is not the best! Very nice everything green - rare elsewhere in Spain.
Reception was bad-they had about 3 different offers. We chose one and noticed that after paying for a few euros more Buggie it would be-but the lady could not change...! and we should have to take the normal rate... Buggie!
Sorry, no sea view. Store is great and good. Restaurant is ok!
Space is flat!

Oliva Nova

The condition (end of July) was ok. The course offers up a few holes no big challenges and is mostly due to the wide fairways, large greens and a few real obstacles rather for beginners. Has not really convinced me. Recommended is the driving range!

Location status and occupation

Have played the course three times in March 2012 and found the place sometimes very unkempt, two tracks totally brown and broken. The fairways were not in good condition. The place was knackevoll and they came up with seasons of 51/2 to 6 hours, degenerating into "Hackerwiese"

Location status

The beautifully located place has unfortunately bad and sometimes unkempt greens that are slow and bumpy. In September 2011, they were aerifiziert and sanded. And now they are still not good anfnags November. Also, the fairways appear in poor condition. One gets the impression that you save on maintenance.
