Hacienda is one of the oldest golf courses in Mexico and charges 4,500 pesos for 18 holes on Saturdays. Caddies are mandatory and get 700 pesos plus a tip. But it's worth every peso. The fairways are sometimes narrow and the greens are quite varied.
One of the special features is that flights of 5 can be played if there is high demand. To speed things up, the hole is not holed; instead, an approximately 70 cm circle is drawn around the hole. Once the ball is in there, the hole is considered to have been played.
There is a lot of music to be heard on the pitch - each buggy has its own music. Sometimes it gets pretty confusing but you get used to it.
The people are super nice and the restaurants are very good. All in all, a well-rounded affair
