Honestly, Valderrama could learn a thing or two from this! For me, the Finca Cortesin golf course and hotel are first-class, pure luxury, and worth every cent!
All with impeccable service, attentive staff, and a complete, worry-free package for holiday golfers. Your personal course assistant will even deliver your halfway snack: bananas, apples, soup, and a sandwich.
The fairways are narrow, with dense rough – soft, deep, and unforgiving. There are no boring straights. Instead of doglegs, clever zigzags dominate, demanding strategy. For high-handicappers, the deep ravines quickly become a test of endurance. Buggies with GPS are available. You can walk, but you don't have to. Bag drop service before the round and club cleaning after the round are mandatory.
If you're not staying at the Hotel Finca Cortesin, we definitely recommend eating in the clubhouse after your round. Not just because of the view of the wonderful driving range, but also because the food there is very deluxe and delicious.

Played on February 14th, 2025 from 12:40. Stunning! Simply wonderful! The reception is super friendly, the bags were picked up from the car, our cart prepared for us. There were at least 40 or more balls stacked up like a pyramid on a beautiful, spacious range. The starter gave us friendly tips and accompanied us to tee 1. The two of us played alone under blue skies and 21 degrees. The next ones were 30 minutes behind us. Then the course: tee boxes, fairways, greens, bunkers - everything perfect and so beautifully maintained. The food buggy, led by the marshal, brought us a sack of fruit and later a bowl of freshly cooked warm chicken broth. Pure pampering. Fairways: many sloping, so many tactical drives and transport shots required. Fast, true greens. Semi-rough was harmless due to the time of year, and some of our balls were saved from going out by tough bushes. Definitely with a buggy, otherwise the paths are very long. You have to obey the buggy GPS in advance, otherwise you'll often get an early electronic blockage. We have a medium handicap and played blue or red. Afterwards, the restaurant: very fine, not to be missed. They stayed open longer for us, very accommodating. Overall: a great day of adventure at Finca Cortesín. The highlight of our week here: we'd love to go again.
