Played in the spring, unfortunately the course was not well maintained.
The greens were riddled with pitch marks and very slow.
Unfortunately, the bunkers were not well maintained, the driving range is good and the staff in the restaurant were friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately, the ladies at the reception didn't know much about golf.
I have to honestly admit that it's a shame about the golf course in the middle of the city; with proper care it could be a lot better.

By and large I can refer to my last review. The place is still fun for me and it is challenging.
Especially the greens are almost (if not in the winter the ravens were digging) always in good condition. Otherwise, the place is good. The greenkeepers are very hard.
For some fine work but probably the staff and / or the budget is missing: there are different types of grass on the fairways, bald spots could be repaired and irrigated extra, it would be better to water the fairways and greens at night (automatic control) instead of the morning,
The new management is trying hard and has already made some improvements. I hope it goes on like this.

A place in the city

One has to leave the place. The scenery is already unique. Located directly on the Triester Straße and with the Vienna Twin Tower in the background, this place is something out of the ordinary.
To the place:
The 9-hole course convinces with a good length and an interesting course design. At the first tee shot through the scenery a bit surprised it starts in this very own course. The holes are sometimes challenging but sometimes difficult to assess (-> blind beats). The feeling of the 3 (I think this is the train) when you tee off parallel to Triester road is first quite own (fortunately, the road is left hand ;-)). Again and again you will be rewarded by a beautiful view.
The Range:
Adequate deductions but first a bit getting used to because 1) against the slope and 2) behind one the hotel with some "viewers" has :).
The areas for the short game are available but not outstanding.
Miscellaneous:
The staff was friendly (but had only to do with the lady at the front desk). Restaurant can not be judged.
All in all an extraordinary place that you should have played at least once because of its location but also no "perfect" place. The price (especially on weekends and public holidays) is at 37 € for me personally already at the upper limit settled. But as I said, in the middle of the city is something special :-)
