Just met my (low) expectations.
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed December 30, 2018
Unfriendly reception. Buggies with GPS.
Course condition: Greens and bunkers good, fairways o.k., tee boxes below expectations. Must play straight because almost every ball not on the fairway is lost. Thick grass or clovers make it impossible to find any balls.
Expensive and slow play
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed April 14, 2017
The real green fee in march is 94 Euro, which we consider quite steep. The pace of play is slow and the manangement tells the players that a 5 hour round is normal, which does not really motivate to speed up the game. The first 12 holes are quite flat and a little boring, The remaning 6 quite up and down, more scenic and atractive. The condition of the course is ok. The terrasse of the restaurant looks quite nice, but there was no time left to visit the same, unfortunately.
A wonderful experiance
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed July 6, 2015
We played Capdepera at first availible tee time (7.30) It was a good idea since the temperatures are quite high in July..
The course was in exellent conditions, the greens were VERY good!
The first 11 holes gives you a posiblity to spread your balls a little, but from the 12th on you need to find your aim.
The last 6 holes are very beautiful. It's very quiet and no disturbance at all.
The wonderful terrace is a must stop after your round. Very friendly staff and amazing food!
All in all - a wonderful experiance!

Varied, harmonious
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed October 8, 2024
Played here on October 7,2024, tee time 11:15 and playing time 4:40... that means the course was full and there were occasional waits. The course was good to play with a trolley. Somewhat athletic players can manage the climb up the hill on holes 15 - 17. Tee box partially uneven, fairways very good but mostly hard and greens - so-so. But that's mainly down to players not repairing pitch marks properly. Overall condition of the course OK, not perfect even though there was enough rain this summer. As a result, the carts left unsightly marks. One of the courses on Mallorca that fits very harmoniously into the landscape and therefore offers varied and sometimes challenging holes. Very nice clubhouse (restaurant terrace...) and staff in the office very helpful. Price/performance (hotel discount) was fair.

Interesting layout until the end
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed April 28, 2024
We, HCP 8 and 10, played this varied course with great joy on April 13,2024. The DR only has mat tees. The quality of the entire course is commendable. The first 12 holes are flat, after that it becomes hilly and accordingly challenging. You can easily play on foot with hand trolleys. Anytime again, despite the long round time of 4 3/4 hours.

Course maintenance underground
2.0 of 5 starsReviewed October 9, 2023
On this portal you should primarily rate the place and not necessarily the staff, at least that's how I understand it.
Tee boxes underground are bad, extremely uneven and where is the grass??
Fairways also have many bare spots; better course maintenance is urgently needed away from the fairway. The whole area looks rather unkempt - connecting paths are terrible, no boards with information about the game, etc etc.
Greens okay, but very soft and unfortunately many players forget to repair their pitch marks. Unfortunately, some greens also have very large areas without grass.
Bunker good, rough with Bermuda grass difficult to play.
How “Kalle”, after all, with more than 670 reviews and therefore usually a complete professional, gets 4 stars with this sparse rating is a mystery to me, Son Gual then 10 stars??
At the “bad” end, my wife tells me that it was not possible to shower in the women's shower because the fittings had been removed.
€108 for the green fee is at least twice as much!
Last but not least, the 15th, a par 3, is really scenic!

Not the hardest or most perfect place, but still a beautiful place
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed October 9, 2023
First of all: I can't understand the many negative reviews! Yes, the course is not the hardest and some of the tees (not all!) are a bit uneven. But still recommended as a place for a vacation. In short: if you want a high-gloss clubhouse, you should play Canyamel, if you're looking for a challenge, Alcanada (they're currently growing the rough there for the Challenge Tour( October 23), dare you). But what I like about Capdepera:
1. the staff, the staff and again the staff! Rarely do you experience such a consistently friendly and helpful atmosphere as there 2. the clubhouse and the restaurant, which are run with great attention to detail (even if not everything is perfect, keyword showers for the ladies). When you sit on the terrace after the round, you just feel comfortable and can “experience Mallorca”
3. the place starts relaxed with a par 5 and improves at the end both in terms of sport and the view. For me it's a wonderful holiday spot, even if I also like more challenging places like Pinnacle Point (SA) or Buenavista (Tenerife).
Conclusion: we (HC 16+18) will definitely be back!

Nice place, unfortunately poorly maintained
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed September 28, 2023
The first twelve holes are on the flat, in my opinion nice and easy to play if you do it right😅. Things get interesting from the 14th hole. Unfortunately the tees are a disaster, all the tees are humped - hill and valley - so you can never stand straight. The grass is missing on several tees. The fairways and bunkers are also partly neglected. Is there a lack of money here or is it the incompetence of the greenkeepers? It's a shame, such a beautiful place with an excellent restaurant deserves better.

The Capdepera restaurant is a hit
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed March 19, 2023
For me a boring place that seems to be the favorite for older golfers. No wonder, because the first 12 fairways run comfortably, flat and rather unspectacular. The Golf Club Capdepera is one of the four golf courses of the Golf East Mallorca Association. The hit is the restaurant in the golf club. Very appealing ambience and when the fresh spring sun shines, you can sit outside very nicely. The dishes are tasty, the wine tastes good, the service is very friendly. But good to know: In the early season (March), most of the club restaurants on Mallorca close at 6 p.m.

February 2023, okay, but...
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed March 11, 2023
Mallorca as a golf destination in February? Yes absolutely! Low season, cheaper prices, empty streets and hotels (if they are already open).
This year, however, we were there during an extremely bad weather week (yes, things like that can definitely happen in Mallorca!) and were able to play 2 more rounds here before the water and winter hit. Overall, I found the condition in order, but almost all tees have "elephant humps", you almost never really stand straight, but slightly under / over the ball. The fairways were in good condition, the greens were tidy. As the pre-criticism already writes, it gets really interesting from hole 13, hole 10 with the little house and the wall as a dogleg is also pretty, and I personally think holes 15 and 18 are the most beautiful. The green fee prices are reasonable until mid-February, then they increase significantly and then from the beginning of March it gets quite expensive for what is on offer. However, you can hardly play anywhere in Mallorca for less than €100, the Mallorca Golf Card then no longer brings any reduction, and measured by the quality of this course, I honestly find what is on offer too expensive. There was no pro shop, only a few things in the restaurant (polos, shoes, gloves), presented rather unlovingly. If the high season is supposed to be from the beginning of March, I find that clearly too poor.
However, what is really good is the kitchen - the food was always excellent in the clubhouse and the terrace (although too cool during our stay) was very nice. And the staff overall very friendly, they also speak German (of course), but they were happy about my efforts in Spanish and my wife's fluent Spanish.
CONCLUSION: I would wish for a better condition, straightened the deductions and a better price-performance ratio.
We now know all the places in the northeast through several visits, Canyamel is my personal favourite, Alcanada is also great, but at €170 it is also quite expensive.
Next time we will visit the southwest of the island.

From lane 13 it gets really nice
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed February 8, 2023
We played this course three times in late January/early February 2023. The condition of the course was good, the tees had grass and the fairways were mostly well maintained. There is a star deduction for the mostly missing signs and the sparse descriptions of the tracks at the tees.
The first 11 holes are all flat and not particularly spectacular. Hole 10 is the first hole to present an interesting layout with the cottage after the tee. But it gets really nice from hole 13. The remaining six holes are all built into the rising slope with palm trees and bushes and have great discounts over bushes or barranco. We enjoyed these tracks.
Especially Mattias gave us a very friendly welcome.
We can highly recommend this course and would love to play here again when we are back in Mallorca.

Nice place with clear weaknesses
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed October 10, 2022
Front nine - back nine not played: tees okay, greens okay, fairways in bad condition, many brown spots in early October 2022 - well, the summer was probably very hot. Design mostly one lane straight up, one lane straight in the opposite direction.
Information signs rather scarce, distance posts not available (only base plates). GPS lock in the cart absolutely annoying, sometimes already active about 30 m before the signs. No way on the initial holes, but cart lock - after a bit of riddles: drive to the side in the "semi-rough" (was also a fairway).
Played with the Mallorcard online - €49 2 for 1 for nine holes - still okay, at the same time packages with Card Son Termens, Son Quint and Son Vida including buggy cost around €50-60 per person - for 18 holes. My telephone inquiry as to whether one could play 18 holes for another 2*49 € was flatly rejected, total price for 2 people 18 holes with card approx. 230 € - this is really overpriced for the place. Customer service and business acumen is different. Conclusion for the Frontnine: could go in the direction of four stars with justifiable effort - other places offer more at sometimes even lower overall prices.

3.0 of 5 starsReviewed October 7, 2022
The dry summer has also left its mark on this place. One can understand that. What we (hcp 7+15) did not understand are the unkempt and not straight haircuts. The signs for the tea boxes were not available. You had to keep looking. The layout of the course was also rather normal. We really liked the stylish clubhouse. The staff in the golf shop was also very nice. We will no longer play the course as there are so many better golf courses in Mallorca.

PLACE IN BAD CONDITION
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed September 27, 2022
We have been coming to Capdepera for 8 years because we did our license there and there is one of the best golf schools with Michelle & Tobias that we know.
It is thanks to them and the amazing hacienda style clubhouse, with good food at reasonable prices served by very friendly staff, that we keep coming back to Capdepera.
The course otherwise has 2 faces: flat and manageable in the front nine, mountainous, narrow and losing lots of ball if the game is not straight on the back nine. These compensate with beautiful regional views.
We will be back…

If the condition were better, the course wouldn't be so bad, because the design is very appealing, especially on the back nine.

...the hole 15 par 3...
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed March 29, 2022
We were last on the island 14 years ago and have played part of the courses to the east several times. The time intervals illustrate the importance that the island has for us in terms of golf.
One of our team members played his 300th course here.
Of these five in the east - we include Vall d'Or - this one was No. 2, Vall d'Or was one of the best the Balearic Islands had to offer at the time.
Dan Maples designed this course, we believe it's the only course he built outside of the US.
The notes are extensive for this visit as a whole, but not for all courses. We really liked the back nine, and again today. We were very satisfied with the course maintenance, although some drawbacks were made compared to Vall d'Or. Some details have not received the attention they deserve.
The first part of the course is on a slight slope - holes 1-12 - this was originally agricultural land. The last 6 holes were knocked out of the woods and are great. Some of these holes are quite difficult to play as the trees make them narrow.
Hole 15 - a par 3 - is repeatedly described in the magazines as the most beautiful par 3 in the Balearic Islands and also offers a great view. It's the best hole in the whole east for us.
Today the course maintenance was a topic of conversation, doesn't mean that it's bad, we expected better conditions. Above all, the different mowing cadence was a big issue, not all tees and fairways were freshly cut. We also miss the attention to detail.
The greens were fine, not particularly fast today.
We can again emphasize the clubhouse with the terrace and the good gastro - spent a few evenings here on our last visit. The attentive and friendly staff earns high marks.
Certainly not a five-star facility, it takes a lot more than that, these are expressions of sympathy. There are four stars from all of us, the second nine make the difference.

5.0 of 5 starsReviewed July 27, 2021
We played the course on 7/20/21 and 7/17/21: very nice place! Very interesting and well cared for. Gastro very good.
We didn't like the fact that a large number of kids and youth apparently trained on the range and on the pitch from 6 p.m. On the other hand, the pros are very careful and friendly and let the guests play through quickly. The carts were great. I really couldn't understand why Pula costs less than half the price of Alcanada.

Very nice place
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed May 15, 2021
Played on May 13th, (12hcp). the course is nicely nestled on a hill. the lanes 1-12 run on the level, then it goes up a bit, but everything can be relaxed. the distances between the tracks are very short, and some tracks are close together.
I was allowed to play the course with an older "resident" of mallorca, thank you very much for that, it was a very entertaining pleasure.
It took us 3.5 hours without hurrying and in between we waited.
The greens were very good and directional, hardly undulating. fairways and tees also perfect. Precision is an advantage on many tracks, as warped balls end up in the out or a penalty area, there are also enough bushes.
Due to the shortness of the space, you could often do without the driver if the 3-blade is hit more precisely.
As on most other courses, it would be nice if we all would just fix the pitch marks and put back divots, no greenkeeper can always guarantee this. but it wasn't dramatic. I also missed a fishing "fore" when the ball sails through a bush...
Two points that weren't so positive: I had reserved a start time around 1630, the space closes around 2000 but (due to the corona or the season) it would be nice to be informed about this when making the reservation. so just ask yourself...
And with some holes the yellow tees are stuck in red... does not work at all. (I corrected that myself). the score may be better, but the pleasure is diminished.
Employees were relaxed, very nice and easy-going, I like it.
The clubhouse for the drink afterwards was unfortunately already closed.
Conclusion: I liked the place, I would definitely play again. quick and easy.

Waiting for the better half...
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed February 24, 2020
We played Capdepera in mid-February. The condition was good, the greens were quick. Our impression on the first half: Unspectacular and more natural than well-designed. From the 10th it became more exciting and difficult. Larger water hazards and massive stone walls appeared as obstacles. We only got really warm around the heart at 13 on the other side of the access road. A completely different place started here with a significantly higher design quality! After a flat start (nice hole!) It was now quite hilly and precise play was required. Each hole now had its own character - really exciting. Especially the 15 ( "lonely" green between bushes) and the 16 (great downhill hole) will be remembered. And the 18, where only a precise tee shot keeps the ball in play. When scoring, the first part receives 3, the second 4 points. Because the last impression remains, it is enough for a 4.

3.0 of 5 starsReviewed October 5, 2019
Unfortunately, the place can not keep up with most squares in terms of design, and it will be more varied on the second 9.
The place did not look optimally maintained. Especially the tea boxes were not in good condition. Greens were ok.
If you are in the east of the island, a visit is highly recommended. We advise against a long journey from the west of Majorca.

Overall, a reasonable price-performance ratio.

The course is varied and has presented in a very good condition despite the heat. Sporty challenging, but always fair. It is fitted into the landscape and absolute silence will allow you to enjoy the space and the game. The club secretariat was friendly and very helpful, has coordinated all the guests (to make it quicker, we have been asked if we want to start on the 13th). Also, the putting green and the chipping green are generous and in good condition. Alone the mats on the driving range are bad and do not fit the rest. We played twice here and it was just two great days. The service and food on the very nice Clublterrasse were fast, very friendly and good. I can highly recommend the club sandwich. Oliver Hc 9 & 17

Great place with great clubhouse terrace
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed June 25, 2019
Played on 25.6.2019 The Paltz is very varied with interesting tracks, which are sometimes quite short, but always interesting. Good condition of fairways and greens, juicy rough even in summer. Almost every track is different.
Point of criticism: Matttenabschläge on the range and the tea boxes on the square are often a disaster, since they are never straight and not in good condition. That's a pity, because it's easy to correct.
Nevertheless, the place is a lot of fun and the clubhouse terrace is great. All staff were very friendly and courteous and competent.

Price performance very good, but still only 4th place
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed February 22, 2019
A place quite cheap to play in comparison to the other 3 places played in February 2019. The clubhouse is rustic, the reception very nice. The first lane starts directly straight ahead, shorter par 5, a good opening for a relaxed round. From the two it is more rustic, next to the tracks you can see quite high rough, maybe a condition that is normal in February and is no longer in summer. The greens fix, not too fast, consistent, pitch marks available, but as far as okay. Somehow the place reminds me of a "forest and meadow area", nothing special, it just goes back and forth...
From the age of 9, that changes radically. Suddenly water comes into play, the Nine (short par 4) demands strategy, then it goes up the hills and down, warped balls are simply gone, here precision and no length is required to hold the score. In our day, yellow was more on the blue tees, which I liked less, the place is already not very long anyway...
The restaurant was ok, the shandy delicious, the club sandwich sosolala. Service was very friendly, but everything was in German hands, should mean, you speak Spanish, of course, also German... as yes mostly in Mallorca.
Price-performance is fine, but from the placement it is only enough for the 4-place of 4 places played by us in the region.

3.0 of 5 starsReviewed September 11, 2018
I played the course today. Start of Tee 7, because of space work on lane 1 to 6.
Trolley was nice for free.
The haircuts were in no good condition. Fairways us greens good. Some bunkers partly small water damage, but ok.
When I came from the 18 on the train 1 was unfortunately a jam, since now all the people of Tee1 started. That was annoying, the one had previously assured me extra, the lane 1 would be free.
7 greens were unfortunately sent and thus difficult to putt. I had not expected that before. Three of these greens were not pulled off. So they were still completely full of sand.
Therefore only 3 stars.

3.0 of 5 starsReviewed June 26, 2018
We play in Mallorca for many years and have finally played with Capdepera the last "unknown" place. Our conclusion is pervaded.
The reception in the clubhouse very friendly. Fairways and greens for this season pretty well in the shot. At hole 10 they are rebuilding the bunkers - we did not have to pay for the trolleys. That was ok. And the restaurant also looks good, but is (unfortunately) extremely geared towards German-speaking guests from Germany and Switzerland.
So far so good - but why only three stars? Because the design of the place and the price / performance ratio are simply not right for us. The place does not look neglected, but it is still far from the top spots of the island. And hardly a hole is really exciting. For this money there are some better (more interesting) places in Mallorca.
Or to put it another way: If you are in the east of the island, then a visit is definitely recommended. From a (too) long journey from the west, I advise against. Bendinat, Maioris, Son Antem or Santa Ponsa are at least equally exciting - Son Gual, Son Muntaner / Vida even more interesting.

The course is on the first 12 holes well suited to import and calls only from hole 13 right. From here it gets a bit hilly and challenging. Now the round starts right. A big disadvantage is that everyone is allowed on the pitch - really everyone! Also people who never held a racket in their hands. Played the course on 11.11.2017; Due to a dry summer and the torrential rains of the previous day, the place has suffered quite a lot, there were many places that turned into mud through the rain.
The last 6 holes in the mountains (I think later built) are clearly more attractive than the first 12.
The booked tea time was changed at sign up without notice, so we came almost too late to the tee.

Ordinary Course
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed September 12, 2017
We played on the 11th Sept for the first time. The reception was very nice and on our question whether there was an early bird price negated one, however it was with 58 € cheaper than stated here. On the slopes are only the length details but the greens and the course of the tracks are easy to see. Next to and between the railways it seems somewhat neglected. The second 9 holes are the nicer and go into the mountains, so also a bit more strenuous to walk. The greens are okay, but one has the impression that not everyone repaired their pitch marks properly but this is probably a problem everywhere. The clubhouse is wonderful and also here one receives nicely. All in all a nice place and we will certainly play here again.

Needs improvement
2.0 of 5 starsReviewed July 10, 2017
I played the place on 3 July 2017, already for the third time. Overall rating looks 10 July 2015. At present, the fairways are steinhart, you get no divots from the ground. Therefore, the mats on the driving range give a good taste. Greens are mostly brown at the edges. Currently, the 18th hole is being renovated, the bunker and drainage are being renovated. This is why a provisional hole is stuck at the fairway, which makes it really unplayable - workers run around. But there is unfortunately no discount - therefore also the 2 stars.

The place as such is quite ok, sensational but not. The condition was neat, the greens, on the other hand, were really super - fast and spurtreu! What we particularly liked was the very nice reception, the unique clubhouse as well as the excellent gastronomy. For this reason, we will surely come back.

Always nice again
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed June 16, 2017
We have played this place several times. Main reason to come here was and is actually the clubhouse! This is pure well-being character! The place is currently in a comparatively very good condition. Super fairways and also the greens are very good in the comparison of recent years with medium speed and good sprinting. Flag positions were usually placed at the difficult positions on the green. As with the other clubs, many yellow tees are put on blue to increase the speed of the game, but this is rather nonsense in June because there is little going on. But then also has the interesting variant that those who are slightly longer from the tea can attack some couple 5 with the second. The last 6 holes are built in the mountain. In the current heat is a card therefore highly recommended. At "normal temperature" the place is also good to run. Friendliness and service both on the terrace and in the Proshop are very good. Drinks and food prices in comparison moderate. Absolute recommendation to play here.

Interesting place
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed May 8, 2017
A varied place with great architecture.
The greens are fast and well maintained.
On train 18 one should enjoy the great view. Afterwards, a canyon is to be played. After a perfect tee you can play a safe par.
Unfortunately, the bunkers were partially filled with water through the irrigation system. Also the sand is extremely hard in all bunkers. This is the only shortcoming.
After the round, the visit to the beautiful club house terrace is a perfect ending.

Currently in need of care
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed July 10, 2015
Have played the course this week, a total of for the second time. On almost every green brown spots were found and the ponds / lakes were covered with algae. The driving range is not recommended discount only mats and not covered. The roads are often in need of repair.
Lanes 1-12 are flat and rather unspectacular, wide fairways and few obstacles. The orientation is in part difficult, because not many distances are available. Even the kart has built no GPS.
On the tracks 13-18 it is much more difficult, here are very narrow fairways, slopes and blind holes / fairways. As already repeatedly described here falls orientation difficult! It is enough balls for the last 5 holes take for beginners. Not for nothing do you get a green fee for 12 holes.
Clubhouse with terrace is very nice, had the restaurant not tested.
Conclusion - the place is to play nice and has its own charm, probably polarized. With regular green fee the value for money is not great, draw attention to the summer special! I miss an early bird rate

Golf course the other way
2.0 of 5 starsReviewed May 29, 2015
The first nine are to ideas and harmless, the back nine have nothing more to do with a great golf course architecture.
The place remains fascinating but little challenging, also unkempt, the carts out of date, the ponds and the stink Vorgruens dirty (poo, etc.). From hole 10's is weird, since then times is a tower in the middle of the train or the tee goes to nowhere. Now I have played the course within 5 years the second time and knew me somewhat from. Otherwise: impossible! The fathers of golf course architecture thought to another. Since there is then also Greenkeeper that pass in the response of the ball off the tee with the tractor. Normally unthinkable! Especially is also the 18: if you have fortunately found the tee, goes over a gorge on the fairway: already feasible, but the best is just the view. Well, that's Club restaurant, friendly service, food comes fast and the prices are ok. Nevertheless, since I do not have to go back there, the alternative courses in Mallorca are too good. Therefore: Rating: Bad!

This is not operated with nail scissors Greenkeeping, but the fairways for early February were very good to play and the Green were in fair condition.
Some tracks are rather unspectacular but overall price and performance are fully ok.
In particular, the back-Nine demand with trolley condition (at least for me) and but reward them with great tracks in the mountains.

We played the course on 09/28/14. Once again, it rained in the "Sun Paradise". Unfortunately, we can not understand the positive evaluation of our Vorbewerter. The place is in poor condition with many brown and bare spots on the fairways and partly also on the ultra slow greens. The roadways are in urgent need of repair, it seems that they came from the Roman period. The work environment are not really maintained. The layout of the place is ok, but not nearly as spectacular as mentioned by some reviewers.
The cuisine is good if you then after a full hour of waiting finally receives the ordered club sandwich.

Dear Spirit of the Game,
First of all I'm glad that you share your thought. Without costumer input we can never be better.
You are right that we have some bare/brown spots on and arround the fairways. The reason is the bad quality water we get from the Capdepera city hall. The salt and cal levels are so high that it's mirracle work done by the greenkeepers that the whole golf course doesn´t die on us. The rain that you experianced helps, but it takes time to recuperate.
The greens are slow!
The reason is the overseed done begining of September. The new grass is germanating very well (rain water helps) but we cannot cut the greens any shorter before the grass plant get stronger. This is a investment made for the future and by next year greens will be much better/faster.
I'm glad that you liked the food. The reason that you had to wait so long is completely my fault.
With the weather I expected absolutely no golfers and told all kitchen staff except one to stay home. I apologize for that.
Best regards,
Mattias Amborn

We played the course in May 2014. It was very quiet in the afternoons. We walked the square, is feasible but one needs to have endurance, the last 6 holes to run more strenuous. Overall a nice and pleasant and unforgettable place. The greens mostly large, undulating and very fast, thus quite difficult to play, so quite a challenge.

Re on the right track
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed April 16, 2014
On 04/15/2014 we played the course again.
We know the place for several years and make us each even bother southwest to east to Capdepera to drive.
In the course of these many years has its ups and downs behind. Yesterday he was in excellent condition, we have not experienced in recent years. Greens, fairways, the greens and the fairways between everything was fine.
Some old ways are actually somewhat bumpy. Various ways have already been re-graveled. With the trolley still somewhat difficult to commit, as one sinks a little, with the buggy no problem.
The greens are currently quite fast, because you have to get used up. Currently they should not allude directly because they do not bite.
The first 12 holes are flat, clear from the tee to the flag and just go. Here all levels should cope easily. Nevertheless, the fairways are quite different. Time a par 5 is surprisingly short times (lane 12), it does not seem to want to end, and also goes uphill.
From track 13 it is then quite narrow and then goes into the foothills. It is interesting and because of the tightness is sometimes an iron on the tee sense. Very long the tracks are no longer here. And sometimes you have to think twice about where you should first legs.
At 16, the bushes should be reduced finally located directly between tees and fairway. One can easily play it, but from the men's tee, you can see the deeper fairway and a bit from the ladies tee not. Anyone who has played the web does not already several times, do not know where to play.
The ladies haircuts were finally all put where they belong, not in some 30-40m further forward.
Overall, we like the place very much and were pleased that the state finally care is so good.
The course is varied and the clubhouse - especially the terrace - still idyllic.

Beautiful golf course with Grande Finale
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed March 16, 2014
On the Lanes 1 to 12, Capdepera presented flat and open with hard fairways and medium-fast greens. The place is beautifully integrated into the landscape and striking the many stone features such as low walls, bridges, lakeside, towers and houses. The views of mountains and sea and lots of palm trees and flowers delight the golfers on the course again and again.
From hole 13 then there's the grand finale. The courses go through the foothills of the mountains and some wonderfully elevated tees over ditches and wild bushes make this place an experience. Despite some slopes of the place easily accessible and also for seniors is easily manageable.
Under the arcades and on the terrace of the Club restaurants can be an impressive round of golf in pleasant ambience decide.

Grand finale...
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed November 11, 2013
In contrast to Son Servera, where the front nine are outstanding, indemnify Capdepera the last six holes for the rather average, flat sheets before - it really takes!
The entire system is designed very spacious and generous, but also somehow come into age (or neglected) and the revised one thing or another. So it was, for example (artificial) lakes without water and many a low wall has collapsed in on itself. Driving range, practice greens and condition of the fairways and greens was absolutely okay. However, often on web 12 "Fore alarm" by the adjacent driving range - not good!
Well, but then the last 6 holes - just terrific. Beautifully integrated into the landscape scenic railway and narrow fairways. So it should not have to be the whole time. This often described most beautiful hole on the island (hole 15) I was not as spectacular now.

As at the station and catastrophic greens
2.0 of 5 starsReviewed October 3, 2013
We are specially still on 29 Through September, as prices from October to increase considerably. However, we felt like at the station. A flight after another in too short intervals, which has inevitably led to long waiting times on the 18 hole. The first 9 are fairly simple and unspectacular. The second nine are challenging and sometimes very interesting. About habitats and multiple discounts without knowing where you must go if you do not know the place. The tracks are so close together that you have to watch, unless you're proposing to meet anyone from the other track.
The greens are in such poor condition that the cherubs repeatedly was pure luck and had nothing to do with golf. Also, the roughs are so impossible that one hardly has a chance to find balls.
The Puttingreens are a joke and at the driving range, you have to be careful that you get, shot down by the golfers, the forgiven your second shot on hole 9 or 10 (?) ...
If the place is in good condition and here is not the golfer through here as in the train station, certainly very interesting place, but at the moment there's much better alternatives in the north as Canyamel and Son Servera.
The only highlight is the club terrace, which is exceptionally beautiful and invites you to linger.

4.0 of 5 starsReviewed April 3, 2012
Have the place after 2 years on 3 April 2012 once again played. Everything was perfect. Fariways in top condition, incredibly fast greens. However, it was relatively full. Although I had reserved no start time, you have put me in a straightforward Flight. Staff nice, German-speaking, great. We will be back!

Nice place with nice atmosphere and a great clubhouse
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed November 7, 2011
Played at 31.10.
Varied place with pleasant first 12 holes. From the 13, the character of the place and is hilly and narrow changed. Maintenance condition of the place is also when repair work would have to make in order in some places.
But the whole is made up for by a pleasant atmosphere, nice actors and the wonderful cuisine in the clubhouse. Value fit here.
The place is not the way to play is by invitation only, but normally available.

Very good value for money
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed August 21, 2011
Have played the course three times in August 2011. In particular, the value for money with 49 green fee € for a fun, challenging course has absolutely loved it. The place is well maintained, the greens OK so far (if all players would know how to used a pitch fork, it would be even better). Gastronomy: Very nice atmosphere with good food at a reasonable price.
Conclusion: Recommendable place that is not frequented despite the good PLV.
Recommendation: take a cart for 32 € In temparatures about 30 degrees

For us, just the golf course!
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed August 4, 2011
My wife and I have played the end of July 2011, on the golf course. The course was in good condition. The prices for green fees, equipment and cart were reasonable. When booking, there was a coupon for each subsequent champagne in the restaurant.
The staff was super friendly. The ambience and the food in the restaurant is great.

Good place, definitely take the barbecue on Thursdays!
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed May 29, 2011
I join because of my previous speakers, the first 9 holes rather dull, flat and lots of space, the second new much nicer and tighter, and the tracks are not next to one another. Those who can should definitely play Donnerstages, and reserve the evening barbecue, made super great, sought after fish and meat and everything your heart. A great atmosphere on the beautiful terrace.
Greetings Tom

Still a challenge!
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed March 26, 2011
Games the place for 5 years regularly. Still in very good condition, if not outstanding. First 9 holes rather flat, but with a lot of wind. The Back Nine are narrower and hilly. In addition, narrow landing areas and partially not visible. Greens rather slowly. Excellent restaurant, service impeccable. Is worth the money.
