Characteristics
Straddling the historic Meridian Line, this course offers a rare geographical quirk: players cross the hemispheres seven times during a round. Designed by Ryder Cup stars Peter Alliss and Clive Clark, the 210-acre layout near Cambridge is often cited as their finest UK creation. Although an inland course, it evokes a traditional links feel with generous fairways and large, undulating greens. The three-tiered 5th green is a notable test, while the 18th is widely considered one of the region's best finishing holes. A modern clubhouse overlooks this majestic landscape.
