Wrong Photos

The photos shown here are of neighbouring Camperdown Golf Course. Pity because Caird Park is an attractive testing parkland course on undulating rather than hilly ground with mature Pine and Conifer trees in avenues and copses inhabited by Red Squirrels and Roe Deer. It is a busy popular course with good width fairways and well defended greens. Bunkers abound and should be avoided as the sand consistency is variable between concrete and soft clay. The Golf Club Bar offers good hospitality and there is a morning/ lunchtime cafe available. Buggies are reasonable and should be pre-booked and there is a pro shop offering a full range of equipment and service. Not expensive and well worth playing.

Well for starters

During my studies in Scotland, I have completed a membership for the two public courses in Dundee. Caird Park and Camperdown are freely accessible to everyone and really value is not placed on the label. But that also does not interfere. Exercise areas have to offer both courses. Exercise area is, each a little short course and a free lawn that is enough for wedge shots.
Camperdown is the more sophisticated of the two courses and offers country-style park fans and friends of trees Berfriedigung without end. Caird Park, however, is more open and held relatively well suited for beginners.
Caird Park is a place that is very well suited in any case for beginners. The first 9 holes are suitable for entry, the last 9 then form a challenge on par Wide fairways and a total open area for better beginners can forgive the occasional failures. A small stream winds through 4 holes and also forms an obstacle for many a short and their impact. The place is very busy almost every season. He was once the most-recorded course in Europe a few decades ago.
It's definitely fun to play the course, but you should not expect too much of yourself.
