Situated on the fringe of the Habergham Eaves moors, Burnley Golf Club—locally known as Glen View—offers a distinct moorland experience in Lancashire. Founded in 1905, the course bears the prestigious mark of James Braid, who redesigned the layout in 1929 to make excellent use of the rolling terrain. The course is renowned for its panoramic vistas, stretching from Pendle Hill to the famous Three Peaks of Yorkshire. Golfers face a sporting test characterized by natural water courses and undulating fairways. The 18th hole is a standout finish, requiring a precise drive past a shimmering lake and out-of-bounds areas, all visible from the clubhouse balcony. Renowned for its warm hospitality, the club features comprehensive practice facilities and a refurbished clubhouse perfect for post-round relaxation.
