Designed by the legendary James Braid in the 1920s, this mature parkland course features 9 holes with 18 distinct tees, allowing for a varied full round. The signature 9th hole, "The Flower Bowl," is widely considered one of the finest short holes in the county. Nice, quiet and stylish hotel with its own 9 hole course. Family atmosphere. Very nice welcome, friendly staff, rooms overlooking the golf course. Hotel also with its own botanical garden.

We have the PAR 68 9-hole course played in June because we had a house in the neighborhood. Was 5 days in the hotel, highly recommend it: friendly, helpful, kind, knowledgeable and well. Evening with jacket and tie: British makes, fun, very relaxed crowd - very, very pleasant atmosphere.
