Characteristics
Established in 1891, Brora Golf Club represents the essence of traditional Scottish links golf. As the headquarters of the James Braid Golfing Society, the course remains virtually unchanged since his 1923 redesign. The layout creates a harmonious loop, with the front nine hugging the coastline of Kintradwell Bay and the back nine skirting local croft land. Natural hazards like gorse, burns, and the nearby railway challenge players. The 18th hole, played directly beneath the clubhouse windows, offers a dramatic finish before relaxing with views of the seascape.

Really nice and exciting links course with interesting fairways (mostly beautiful view of the sea). Many sheep accompany the players throughout the facility. Value for money is definitely right. Friendly and helpful staff in the pro shop. All in all only recommendable.
