Perched high above the historic spa town of Bridge of Allan, this 9-hole course offers a unique journey back in time. Designed by the legendary Old Tom Morris in 1895, the layout proves that length isn't everything. It is a hilly, technical test featuring ancient stone walls, crossing fairways, and blind shots that demand precision over power. The opening hole is particularly famous: a daunting, steep uphill Par 3 requiring a carry over a stone dyke, often cited as one of the toughest openers in the country. Golfers are rewarded with magnificent panoramas of the Trossachs and the Forth Valley.
