Established in 1895, the club boasts a rich history with early connections to Old Tom Morris. Although the terrain is relatively flat, the par-68 layout is known for being tight and technical, rewarding accuracy over distance. The signature 9th hole is particularly notorious, featuring water hazards that challenge even seasoned players. The course record is held by Open Champion Paul Lawrie.
