Characteristics
Situated between the mountains of the Serra da Carragueira, this golf course offers beautiful views on the Sintra mountains, the Palácia da Pena to the Cap Espichel south if the Tejo. The first nine holes take course through untouched nature, the second pass several houses, which belong to the course. Hundreds of trees, mostly stone pines were planted and offer a picturesque frame of the fairways and greens.

Interesting design but not in great condition

Overall worth playing due to interesting course design with a number of elevated Tee-boxes. Not very long, but with a bit of distance between the (first) holes. We have walked the course but a buggy might be helpful if you want to focus on your game.
Unfortunately not in a very good condition- fairways patchy, grass growing in bunkers, tee boxes like football pitches etc

Played the course on a Saturday, great value for money. You should be very good on foot if you don't take a buggy. The haircuts were a bit rough, certainly due to the time of year. The greens are heavily undulated and very fast. The back 9 has some blind haircuts but is fair.
Eating and drinking in the clubhouse very well at fair prices. When you arrive, rely on the signs rather than on the sat nav.
