Characteristics
Situated in the heart of North Yorkshire, Bedale Golf Club serves as the "Golfing Gateway to the Dales." Established in 1894, the course winds through a beautiful 18th-century parkland that was formerly a deer park. The layout is characterized by wide, tree-lined fairways and offers stunning long-range views of the Wensleydale Hills. While the terrain allows for easy walking, the prevailing westerly breeze and water hazards on seven holes provide a strategic challenge. The signature 13th hole, requiring a carry over marshland, is a highlight. Off the course, the clubhouse features a balcony with panoramic views, an excellent restaurant known for its Sunday carvery, and a state-of-the-art swing studio for practice.
