Awesome

This is a must play golf course. Probably one of the best value courses in the UK. It has Loch Lomond on one side and the campsie hills on the other. The views are spectacular particularly so on the 13th hole. And all this for £30.

The course is a good test of anyones ability, with some very tricky holes. The par 3’s are all difficult. I would say the signature holes are the par 5 15th and the par 4 17th but there are many great holes on the course.

Greens and fairways are in top class condition.

Marks out of 10. I would give it a 9.5.

Great views

The course is beautifully situated in the Highlands. There are always fantastic views of the surrounding mountains. Due to the hilly terrain, you often play blindfolded. Otherwise, the course is quite varied. Currently, there is no clubhouse; it appears to be under construction. Overall, a great course. We paid 60 pounds for two people during the week.
