Well maintained, but not the most exciting golf course, whether it be the game or the views. I had a relaxed round though. Partly parkland, partly woodland. More than one fairway is fairly out of the horizontal over the whole length, which makes them tiring to walk.

We spent a few days in Bad Driburg last week and played the course on Tuesday and Thursday. The staff in the club office and restaurant are very friendly. The course is a beautiful parkland course with mature trees and interesting holes. Unfortunately, the condition of the course leaves much to be desired. The fairways are overgrown with weeds in many places, there's grass clippings on the fairways, the tee boxes aren't mowed, and the greens are extremely dull and slow. There's a significant backlog of professional course maintenance. The operating company is supposed to change next year. I hope the course will then receive the necessary care, because it could actually be a beautiful course.

I played the course for the second time after a long time and still had many holes in mind. For me, that's a good sign. The fairways are very varied, but also wide and therefore relatively forgiving. On adjacent fairways, the area between them is mowed, which looks nice and increases the pace of play. The only catastrophic thing was the greens. They were relatively recently aerated, but I've never experienced anything like this, even on aerated greens. It was extremely slow, and on top of that, the ball bounced completely unpredictably. If the greens had been even halfway decent, I would have given it four stars.
