Thought this was a great course, tricky in spots! Great welcome from all the staff …. Food was plentiful and great service with spectacular views of lough Ree.. couldn’t fault it. Will be back!

The reception was very friendly. We played on August 11th, 2024 at 11am. The course was well attended. The course has an unusual course, the rest is pleasant but not difficult. The tee shots were OK at most, the greens were blunt and slow. Wide fairways made for stress-free play. The restaurant was full (Sunday). The service was OK, but the espresso was cold. I think the previous reviews are too good.

The course runs over the small hill on the southwestern shore of Lough Ree. This always offers beautiful views of the various bays of the lake. The fairways are well maintained and beautifully landscaped. Hole 13 is particularly exciting! The reception was very attentive as guests, the clubhouse with its bar offered a nice conclusion to the Round.
