Characteristics
As the oldest club in Derbyshire (founded 1886), Ashbourne Golf Club offers a historic round with a spectacular backdrop. Located at the gateway to the Peak District, the course presents stunning vistas of Thorpe Cloud and Dovedale. The 18-hole layout, originally inspired by James Braid and updated by David Hemstock, is a rolling parkland test featuring undulating fairways, strategic dog-legs, and elevated greens. After tackling this scenic challenge, golfers can relax in the "Restaurant 1886" within the welcoming clubhouse.
