Arujá Golf Club

Estr. dos Vados, 2000 - Dos Fontes, 07400-970 Arujá, Brazil

Characteristics

Designed and built for the Japanese community that lives in São Paulo, Arujá Golf Club is one of the most traditional clubs in the São Paulo region. The layout of the course, varying between relatively flat holes and others with extreme elevation changes holes, demands an array of golfing skills. It is no coincidence that Arujá is home to several top Brazilian professional golfers, like Acácio Jorge Pedro, leader in the PGA do Brazil ranking for several years, and Fabiano dos Santos, famous for his prolific length with a driver.

The course has been the venue of major tournaments, such as LG/Vivo PGA Championship, one of the main professional golf competitions in Brazil. Arujá Open competition is quite traditional as well, since it also includes a competition among professionals.
