Characteristics
The 9-hole-course PAR 70 of the Arona Golf Club is the newest one in the region of the Lago Maggiore. It is situated in undulating, but nit difficult terrain and has, thanks to its good location, already won a great number of memebers in the first two years, furthermore the course has a well-equipped driving range with 18 roofed tees as well as a putting and pitching green.

Friendly welcome, nice staff, nice club members. The small propeller planes go before addition to the web 1 along and start the middle of the golf course. Is funny and does not interfere. Then come right has sharp doglegs where mature trees prevents the shortening, very narrow fairways, two beautiful par 3, one with island green. Partly loudly through the near street. Otherwise nicely laid out, but not easy. Only two tracks have wide fairways and are rather simple. The greens are mediocre and quickly. From the very nature almost like a zoo, lots of turtles in the numerous lakes and the whole zamen otters are cute.
Price / performance ratio, 30 Euro a week, 35 Euro at the weekend (2015). That fits, if one does not expect a top-manicured course. Rather fare. Because the price but a rating average.
