We played the course twice in week 34/22 because of the heat in the morning. The course was in good condition thanks to the sprinkler system with treated water. The "herd" does not bother.
The sec. is friendly and speaks English.
The clubhouse is old-fashioned. The gastro is under all canons.
Water from plastic bottles. but 2€ "cover".
4 stars place, 2 stars all around.
Will play the course again when we're back on the island.

The premises are getting old. We were on the island for a week and rented a house, we were offered a 40% discount. Cards 42 and Fee 74/64. Golf halves and leisure breaks coupons accepted. Come again

We played the course in September 2020 and experienced a rather mixed golf day. The square is on the island of the same name, the guarded barriers to the area only open after registration in the office. More time should be planned accordingly.
The clubhouse exudes 80s charm, the service in the restaurant was a bad joke.
The course itself is really nice, was very well maintained and reminds a little of links courses (but unfortunately you cannot see the sea). The already mentioned herd of red deer that lives on the pitch doesn't bother us at all, on the contrary, it brings variety into the game. The "local" players who do not stick to tee times and play the course all over the place were really difficult. During the whole round we had three different flights in front of us and also three different flights behind us, some of which exerted great pressure (we then found out that they didn't putt at all and were therefore so "fast").
Conclusion: The course is absolutely worth playing, unfortunately the surrounding area was less edifying.

My wife and I spent a few days of golf in Albarella. The course has a good design and is pleasantly playable even in windy conditions. A link not too penalizing with par 4 and 5 not overly long but challenging in the presence of wind (mainly lateral). A unique and pleasant feature is the presence of herds of fallow deer on the fairways. Field "rustic" in maintenance but maybe that's right... bunkers a bit 'too hard, suitable greens.
