Interesting and good Greens

My second choice beside Samamah, interesting layout, can be quite tough from back tees. When visiting it was a bit packed, so it took a bit longer to get around. But what complaning when on a vacation? Go and play. But od not expect a perfect environment, this is a huge complex which still is under construction. Service was a a cool which was uncommon to Marrakesh.

Course played on January 26th, 2025. Beautiful course with fast greens.
Varied courses, well-playable bunkers, which is rather the exception in Morocco.
The fairways were quite hard, but this can be explained by the lack of water.
Big minus: the restaurant. Lots of staff, but no one feels responsible for an order. And even then, even when the place is only half full, you still have to wait 15 minutes for the delivery. Even the most beautiful and modern design is no help here; it's not acceptable!

It is amazing how the golf courses here were placed in the desert/steppe and are irrigated, just like the orange and olive groves have been for centuries. The water for use comes from a 15 m deep groundwater stream that flows towards the sea. The drinking water - like in Vienna - comes from the Atlas Mountains via viaducts.
Now to the course. Well maintained, wide fairways, rectangular water reservoirs as penalty areas that take some getting used to. But you should play carefully to get a reasonable score.
