A causa della siccità, i tee e i green erano le uniche aree verdi a livello del terreno. Tuttavia, questo è stato compensato dalla presenza di alberi secolari e diversificati! Muri di pietra naturale sovrapposti e ostacoli d'acqua frontali hanno reso il gioco più impegnativo e hanno anche fornito il necessario brivido su questo percorso pianeggiante!
È stato un vero peccato che il food truck alla buca 19 fosse aperto solo a pranzo. Ci torneremo!

Il nostro soggiorno all'Hôtel Golf Château de Chailly è stato davvero piacevole, anzi, a dire il vero molto bello. Purtroppo, il campo da golf non era esattamente godibile a causa del caldo estivo. Il personale ha fatto tutto il possibile per rendere il campo almeno un po' praticabile – e per questo lo ringraziamo – ma i fairway erano durissimi e a tratti semplicemente terra nuda. Di conseguenza, sui fairway pianeggianti, i colpi risultavano fino al 50% più lunghi del normale. Ma guai a voi se il fairway era in pendenza laterale: un colpo con la mano sinistra vi avrebbe fatto finire fuori limite. Come ho detto, non si può certo dare la colpa al personale per questo.
Parliamo dell'hotel: una camera molto bella con patio privato. Il personale sembrava riservato e annoiato. Tuttavia, la maggiore frustrazione è stata il fatto che gli ospiti dell'hotel non avessero la possibilità di cenare al ristorante, poiché era sempre al completo o chiuso in certi giorni. Abbiamo dovuto organizzare la cena per conto nostro (il ristorante più vicino consigliato dall'hotel era a 45 minuti di auto). Abbiamo trovato questa situazione inaccettabile e molto deludente.

Il campo da golf ha un layout splendido, ma è in gran parte trascurato, forse a causa del clima?

How do I book my trip online?
After you have received an offer, which you like, please click on the orange button "Book now". Then fill out the short questionnaire (regarding information about travellers and tee times) and send the form. After receiving your booking, we will verify the availability of the hotel. Can I cancel or rebook my trip?
Yes, you can cancel at any time. Up to 35 days before departure of your trip cancellation is free of charge for you, unless there are other cancellation conditions listed on your offer and invoice. We have a few hotels that do not offer free cancellation when using an early bird discount. However, more over 90 percent of our partner hotels allow free cancellation up to 35 days before arrival. After that, staggered cancellation fees apply.
