Funchal, the capital of Madeira, nestles against the slopes of a high mountain range and is known for its floral diversity. Mild temperatures make the island a paradise for nature lovers. Once a major port, the focus today is on Madeira wine. The seaside promenade offers romantic views of the sea. Funchal combines natural beauty with cultural heritage and invites you to enjoy the island.

Porto Santo/Madeira/Portugal, 07:00 – 18:00 hrs
A long golden sandy beach stretches 9 km along the coast of Porto Santo, located around 42 km northeast of Madeira. The small island entices with its Portuguese lifestyle, great restaurants, hiking trails, and water sports opportunities – perfect for a relaxing beach holiday. Besides the fascinating basalt formations of the Pico de Ana Ferreira, visitors can also dive into history.
Portimão/Portugal, 07:00 – 18:00 hrs
The copper-red cliffs along the Algarve coast, rising almost vertically from the deep blue sea, make Portimão a real highlight. The charming old town and marina invite relaxed strolls, while Praia da Rocha – an endless, shimmering golden beach – invites sunbathing and enjoyment. Fishing boats and sailing yachts line the quays, while freshly caught fish and regional specialties are served in the small restaurants.

Charming Sète is often called the 'Venice of the Languedoc' because of its numerous canals that wind picturesquely through the cityscape. A climb up Mont Saint-Clair is also worthwhile: from its platform you can enjoy a magnificent panoramic view.
