Palma de Mallorca/Mallorca/Balearic Islands/Spain, departure 21.00 hrs
Arrival and embarkation in Palma de Mallorca. Enjoy the first evening on board the MS EUROPA as the ship casts off at 21.00 hrs and your journey begins.
Valencia/Spain, 12.00 – 22.00 hrs
Valencia delights with ancient buildings and modern architecture. The heart of the Old Town is the Plaza de la Reina with its imposing cathedral. The Mercado Central, where local specialities wait, is worth a stroll. Futuristic flair is radiated by the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciencies, an impressive building and park complex with an opera house, science museum, and oceanarium.

The second-largest city in Andalusia exudes the scent of orange groves. The majestic mountain range of the Montes de Malaga lies north of the city, while the Gibralfaro rises in the centre. From the walls of the Castillo de Gibralfaro, Malaga presents itself in full beauty – in the Old Town, the elegant towers of the cathedral dominate. Below the castle, the gardens of the Moorish fortress Alcazaba bloom.

Gibraltar/Great Britain, 08.00 – 13.00 hrs
At the southern end of the Iberian Peninsula lies Gibraltar, a piece of Great Britain with red telephone boxes and pubs. The striking rock welcomes sailors from afar. Unique in Europe are the free-roaming Barbary macaques that frolic here. The lighthouse to the south opens up breathtaking views as far as Africa. Gibraltar combines history, nature, and British flair.

Casablanca offers an exciting mix of Arab-Muslim heritage and the French colonial era. The Old Town invites you to browse through its alleys, while the Art Deco district shows the modern side. The Hassan II Mosque sits majestically on the coast, its minaret towering 210 m into the sky. It is one of the largest mosques in the world and impresses with its architectural beauty.

In the alleys of Souk El Had, the scents of cinnamon, saffron, and fresh mint mingle. Here, modern life meets the stories of the Berbers, who still tell of traditions in the mountains.
