Varied place in beautiful surroundings

Anyone who comes here in the heat of summer is unlikely to expect a beautifully green, well-maintained place with a lot of variety. But it's not for nothing that this golf course is just inside the top 100 in South Africa.
For once there were no barriers or registration. The lady in the secretariat was absolutely friendly and helpful. We booked the 18-hole round through Golfteatimes for Euro 11 each and got the cart for Euro 18 (for two people). So top golf for Euro 40 for two.
The space offers a little bit of everything. If you have a bad day you can lose a lot of balls as there is a lot of bushy Karoo next to the fairways and some water hazards also came into play. The Front9 are even more beautiful than the rest. We had a strong wind on the Back9, which really challenged us and was able to lower our score a bit. Nevertheless, I will remember this course as fair and challenging, but also as a great experience, probably because I didn't have a bad day. By the way, you can buy found balls in good condition for a fair price in the clubhouse.

Played on 2.2.2018. For two with Car the place cost 700 Rand. A great price for what is offered. Slightly hilly but can also be done well on foot. Some water hazards skilfully complicate the course. Greens not too fast and the fairways surprisingly green compared to the courses in and around Cape Town. Almost tree-free and with slightly wavy fairways. Since only one hour away from Stellenbosch you should quietly include this place in the planning. Will visit the place at least once a year.
