Anyone on a Highland tour should definitely make a stop at the Ballachulish Hotel, dine in the fine fish restaurant, end the evening in the venerable lounge and play this course the next day, incidentally at the hotel's expense.

9 hole course (formerly Dragon's Tooth - now Woodland Course) as part of the Woodland Resort.
The course is well maintained and has a few interesting holes. On one side you have a fantastic view of the mountains of Glencoe, on the other side there is unfortunately the adjacent road (which is usually very busy in high season) - but that didn't really bother us.
For a nice afternoon round around Fort Williams, this place is certainly the first choice.
Drinks, cakes and coffee are available after the round in Scottish style with an "honesty box".

Nice 9 hole course with second deductions for the second 9th greens. Relatively well maintained place, on our visit in April 2019 brutally slow greens. Two haircuts are on the road, so not necessarily a quiet place. Friendly service, cozy cafe and fair green fee for guests.
