For family reasons, I'm often in Wiesbaden. I've played this course 2oder3x until now. A very nice and well-kept course,... yes, the instructions for the next tee could be a little better, but it wasn't a problem on the 2nd x. In addition, I was received very friendly and I was told the special features (e.g. transition to 2 or 6) beforehand.
I was also a guest in the restaurant twice, I can (almost) only report positive things here, very friendly staff and very good food... The only downside was the "somewhat" long waiting time.

Yes, it was a while ago, it was in May 2016 that I played there as part of a VCG tournament (GC Wiesbaden meets VCG) (VCGler myself, HCP-28.1.
Nevertheless, here are my fond memories:
1. Very nice reception 2. Despite a large number of players in the tournament, there is enough parking space 3. Very nice, old parkland course, sometimes already "treacherous" ;-)
4. At first there was a noticeable distance between members of the GC Wiesbaden and the "vile VCG" (teams were mixed, 2 members, 2 VCGers), but it quickly subsided after 2 lanes, after which I was thrown club anecdotes and interesting things were told about the place, and he referred to as "BBB" (trees, streams, bunkers).
5th place not long, but demanding (narrow fairways, height differences, bunkers en masse)
6. Clubhouse rather small but pretty (condition at the time)

I played today (19.05.2014) in a tournament the place of the Wiesbaden GC for the first time.
