Golf pure in North-Holland

Played on 18.9.2017. The 18-hole course near Autobhn 7, near the coastal town of Hoorn am Markemeer in North-Holland, is quietly situated in the typical Hölländlichen natural environment, within a fenced area, which is divided by a not much used road on the first 9 holes becomes. The entrance reminds a little of a Nobelresortanlage, as one knows it eg in England or South Africa. The 18 holes offer everything the golfer expects, there are some holes in the parkland style, increased tee-offs (hole 4), doglegs, water hazards including island green (hole 9), well placed bunkers, and good, faithful as well as fast greens. The condition was perfect, only the heavy rain of the last few days made everything so wet that Fairway could not be mown for longer, so that the grass partly had Rough strength and so many other golf course had the place probably with the condition rather blocked. Most tee-offs, down to run 15, are very open. With a certain basic length of the tea should also get higher HC clear. The operation on a sunny Monday morning was very lively. The lady at the secretariat in the modern clubhouse was very nice. Since I was there early and she had just come to the service, I could pay my green fee after the round. Due to the described space conditions there was a discount (Sundownertarif) on the quite fair green fee. I can recommend the round in Westwoud without hesitation.
