Charming encounter

Very nice complex in the middle of a residential area. Not so demanding for the ambitious golfer. Nice to play. Very friendly people here, unfortunately also very public for everyone. Which is basically not a bad thing. But if the two of us need 5 1/2 hours for 18 holes, that's extraordinary. Half the time was waiting. At some point you somehow lose the rhythm and the fun. The marshal this Sunday let everything go. Even adolescents who constantly bang golf balls all over the place.

Maybe I'm not the first one who got lost here. But I'm the first one to record his experience in a review. On a very stormy day in Port Elizabeth I was looking for the challenge to play a round of golf. Humewood was occupied by a Golf Day. So I ended up at the Walmer Golf Club.
At my request, if I could play 9 holes, the pro replied:
He can not imagine why you want to play golf on such a day, but it is possible. So I went for it. For 50 Rand green fee and 40 Rand Trolley Fee = total € 5.50 (!!!) I was on the 9 hole round, on which I found a nice place, fast groomed greens and some dry fairways. And... stormy gusts, which also made me doubt that I had made the right decision.
