Narrow fairways and greens guarded by sand hazards characterise this course. However, situated near the coast the eastern Levante-wind bothers the golfers the most. Because of the high activity of this club an expansion to 18 holes is in planning.

Disgusting behaviour

Well, we turned up at the club in the car, barrier down, the guard said members only, no entry, only members! so we parked outside and tried to walk in, No entry, the guard wouldn't let us in even to have a look around!? We were sent around to the administration office, same there, no entry! no nothing, just fobbed off. Totally unacceptable. This is so yesterday with golf, I thought the whole idea of golf had changed from being so up their own arse they only want rich members but how are we supposed to know what the course is like if we can't get in? I was tempted to join but now not. Such a bad experience from the gate guard to the staff... hate it. Even St Andrews in Scotland don't have that superior attitude.

Vista Hermosa is a small, family golf club. At the invitation of a golf friend who has been a member here for decades, I was allowed to play the course in mid-October 2021 and experience firsthand what that means:
Everyone not only knows everyone, but you also know everyone's parents, children and dog. Nevertheless, guests are welcomed in a friendly and curious manner. The interaction with each other on the square and on the terrace is relaxed and cordial, at tee 1 you can agree uncomplicated despite the start times, playing through or playing together are a matter of course. All things that do not work so well on every golf course in the world, and if you read the reviews in front of me here, you can also guess why: golf tourists and their expectations. Four out of five evaluators have not even played the course, but would like to penalize the golf club for having the audacity to decide for themselves how much use it can take on their own land.
I can understand why a long-established club with a healthy, cross-generational membership structure would not want to spoil the smooth game operations and the relaxed atmosphere for a few euros by the host of grumblers.
The place is rather flat and not too long. The condition is excellent and the clubhouse is impressive. I was happy to take part in the somewhat cumbersome registration (your country, your place, your rules), in return the green fee was almost absurdly low.
I wouldn't give the golf course itself a 5 star rating, certainly the overall package.

Yesterday I was with some friends partners in the facilities, it is true that being a social club is restricted entry, but paying a small amount we had no problem, the super vigilant and polite at all times.
The spectacular Club, a magnificent golf course, also has a practice court, paddle courts, tennis, football, gym, horse riding area and pools next to the beach.
The food of its magnificent restaurants and a quite affordable price.
In the clubhouse, there are Bridge, Basket, Gin Rummy, Dominoes, etc.
I think it's a safe place to leave my children, because as I mentioned earlier, the entrance is very reserved so no one can pass.
